The tenure of the MACP shall be three (03)years

Can Minority Advisory Council be dissolved before its date of desolution?	Top
The Chief Minister, Punjab may suspend or terminate the memebership of any member, before the date of dissolution of MACP.

Can Coordinator/Convener of Minority Advisory Council be removed from the position?	Top
Yes, The Chief Minister may remove the coordinator/convener from the position at any time.

What are the functions of Minority Advisory Council?	Top
To advise the Government for promotion of tolerance and inter-religious harmony amongst various religious communities in the Punjab To advise the Government for framing / improving the laws, rules and policies affecting minority communities To advise the Government on the initiatives for promotion of economic well being and literacy in the minority community To advise the Government on any member, coordinator / brought its notice
