A Minority Advisory Council Punjab (MCAP) has been constituted on 30th Jan, 2015.
Special arrangements are made by the department to celebrate different religious day for minotries like Christmas, Holi.
Under section-9 of the Christian Marriage Act, 1872 receive in this department through the respective DOCs.

Holi is a Hindu spring festival, also known as the festival of colours or the festival of sharing love.Holi is a two-day festival which starts on the Purnima (Full Moon day) falling in the Bikram Sambat Calendar month of Falgun, which falls somewhere between the end of February and the middle of March in the Gregorian calendar.

Religious Days (Christmas)
Punjab Government officially celebrates the religious events of minorities. Christmas 2013 has twice been celebrated and organized by Human Rights & Minorities Affairs Department; one in Governor House, Lahore and other in Chief Minister’ Office, Lahore, where, local Christian leadership and others were invited to celebrate.
